3.1 Online Course Booking

When you set up an internet account with our website to book a training course online or book offline via email or the telephone.

 

3.2 Contact forms and email links

Should you choose to contact us using the ‘Get in Contact’ dropdown panel, via the enquiry form on our Contact us page or an email link, none of the data that you supply will be stored by this website or passed to / be processed by any of the third party data processors defined in section 9.0. Instead the data will be collated into an email and sent to us over the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP).

 

3.3 Site visitation tracking

Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction. We use this data to determine the number of people using our site, to better understand how they find and use our web pages and to see their journey through the website.

Although GA records data such as your geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system, none of this information personally identifies you to us. GA also records your computer’s IP address which could be used to personally identify you but Google do not grant us access to this. We therefore consider Google to be a third party data processor (see section 9.0 below).

We use your data for the purposes of performing, administering and managing your training course and handling any complaints or claims.

 

5.3 Marketing

If you have consented, we may use your data to send marketing communications to you from time to time with advertisements, offers and promotions relating to Health and Safety Works and the products and services we offer. You are free to opt-out of our newsletter and other marketing communications at any time by contacting us or using any unsubscribe link in any marketing e-mail we send to you.

We may use your data for the purposes of enforcing any orders from you, and for the purposes of dealing with fraud and complying with any legal obligations applicable to us.

 

6.0 HOW WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

As detailed in section 3 above, if you register with us or make an order on this website, personal information and order details will be stored within this website’s database. This data is held for a period of six years after your last order. At this time we will then archive all personal information about you. Should you wish to archive your account information prior to this date you can do so by contacting us.
